A Note From This Week
Hi friends,
I turned 46 last weekend, and birthdays always have a way of making you pause and reflect.
Not in a dramatic, life-crisis kind of way. More in a quiet, “how did I get here?” sort of way.
Between that reflection and the conversations on the podcast this week, I kept coming back to one simple idea:
The life we end up living is often shaped by the small decisions we make over and over again.
What we prioritize.
What we take care of.
What we decide we’re willing to go after.
So for today’s Sunday Wellthy Notes, I wanted to share a few thoughts that stuck with me this week.
Wellthy Insight #1
Perspective Is One of the Best Gifts of Getting Older
When I was younger, I thought life would follow a very specific timeline.
Certain milestones.
Certain outcomes.
Certain expectations.
But life rarely unfolds in a straight line.
And what I’ve realized over time is this:
You’re allowed to reinvent yourself at any stage of life.
There’s no rule that says the version of you today has to look exactly like the version of you five or ten years ago.
Growth almost guarantees that it won’t.
Wellthy Insight #2
Health Quietly Shapes Everything Else
One of the conversations on the podcast this week focused on metabolic health and diabetes.
It was a powerful reminder that in a culture obsessed with productivity and achievement, we often overlook the most important foundation of all.
Our health.
Your energy.
Your focus.
Your longevity.
When those things are strong, life feels expansive.
When they aren’t, everything becomes harder.
Wellness isn’t just about looking a certain way — it’s about creating the capacity to live the life you actually want.
Wellthy Insight #3
Resilience Is a Skill
Another theme that kept coming up for me this week was resilience.
People sometimes ask how I’ve gotten comfortable putting myself out there — with the podcast, with events, with sharing ideas publicly.
And honestly, a lot of that mindset comes from my background in sales.
Sales teaches you very quickly that rejection is part of the process.
You hear “no” constantly.
But over time you learn something important:
No rarely means never. Most of the time it just means not right now.
Progress usually belongs to the people who keep showing up anyway.
The Wellthy Question
Something to think about this week:
What small decision could move you closer to the next era of your life?
Not the huge, overwhelming change.
Just the next step.
